About the Experiences Engineering Team

Our Enterprise Technology mission is to deliver technology solutions that align with business strategies while enabling enterprise efficiency and promoting cross-company collaborative innovation. The Experiences Engineering Team is a dynamic and creative group of professionals dedicated to enhancing our consumer experiences, enabling business growth, and advancing operational excellence. As a User Experience Designer on our team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital experiences and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities

As a User Experience Designer on our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering on the end-to-end design process, translating quantitative and qualitative insights into high-quality experiences that drive real results
  • Influencing and crafting the product and feature design direction by partnering closely with other designers, Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science, and other enterprise partners
  • Rapidly conceptualizing and prototyping solutions at the right level of fidelity, with the right tools
  • Contributing to design system and component libraries as needed
  • Developing and maintaining detailed design documentation, including specifications, redlines, and style guides
  • Serving as the "voice in the room" that always puts the user first

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design work
  • Proficiency in overall design and design management, with a focus on keeping in alignment with customer needs and business goals
  • Exemplary customer communication and strategic planning skills
  • A data-driven approach with experience bringing to bear quantitative and qualitative data to analyze content
  • Strong technical acuity with experience working efficiently across multiple tools and/or content management systems
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adjust communication style by audience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A Bachelor's degree in Visual Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we welcome candidates with:

  • A Master's degree in a related field
  • Related certification(s)

Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Proficiency in design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A user-centered design approach, with a focus on creating seamless and intuitive experiences
