Job Overview

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting the Transportation Analytics crew in navigating through billions of data points to inform business decisions. You will work closely with operations and finance teams to provide them with the insights they need to drive success. Key Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex datasets and conduct ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions. Create ETLs or processes that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table.
• Develop data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and business challenges.
• Engage with team members and cross-functional teams on a regular basis and establish credibility. Analyze stakeholder needs and partner with them to share relevant information.
• Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks made for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition).
• Document your processes and share your expertise with your peers. Mentor your peers as you become a Subject Matter Expert.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Excellent SQL skills with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience).
• Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience).
• Business Operations Fluency with the ability to understand and root cause business problems. A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience, is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau.
• Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
