About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team at blithequark. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, application owners, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software that exceeds our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions using Java and Java-based technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables
• Work independently to identify and resolve complex technical issues and implement solutions
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and best practices
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support team members and customers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure blithequark remains at the forefront of innovation

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems and enterprise-level applications
• Strong understanding of Java and Java-based technologies, including Spring, REST, and multi-threading
• Experience with database design and data access technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Docker
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, including Git
