Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer at blithequark, you'll play a key role in leading cross-functional teams and driving technical decisions that shape the direction of our software development projects. Your expertise in web and cloud application development will be invaluable in helping us create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our engineering teams, collaborating on architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments. Your ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential in driving project success.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, making key decisions that impact project direction and outcomes
- Collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML to drive innovation and solve complex technical challenges
- Contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions
- Represent your team and technology in cross-functional meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Help define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Create a multi-year roadmap for software development projects, leading the design and execution phases to drive innovation and growth
- Oversee the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry, providing guidance and support to ensure project success
Minimum Qualifications
* Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints
- Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects, managing partnerships while staying hands-on technically
- Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, global team, fostering collaboration and supporting your engineers
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of engineering management experience
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
- Experience with API development and working with API consumers
