Responsibilities

As a customer service specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound calls, emails, and chats with a high level of professionalism and empathy
  • Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and accuracy in handling customer inquiries and concerns
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching issues, and providing personalized solutions and alternatives
  • Seizing opportunities to upsell products and services that meet customers' needs and exceed their expectations
  • Building sustainable relationships with customers through active listening, empathy, and a customer-centric approach
  • Taking orders from customers, either over the phone or through our online platforms
  • Ringing orders into our point-of-sale (POS) system and mail orders into our mail order system

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a customer support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different personality types and communication styles
  • A customer-focused approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in CRM software and other customer service tools a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* 1 year of relevant experience in a customer support role

  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
