As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of support, guidance, and resolution to their inquiries or issues.
Job Summary
In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and effective communication. You'll work closely with our sales team, dispatch, and credit department to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and billing. Key Responsibilities
* Assist customers with product questions, ordering, order tracking, complaints, and problems
- Enter orders into our system for billing and delivery
- Prepare quotes and coordinate mailings of literature and samples
- Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch
- Retrieve needed information for credit department
- Issue credits or debits accurately when applicable
- Set up new customers for sales force
- Answer incoming calls
- Take sales orders from sales representatives and customers by phone, fax, and email
- Run credit card and check approvals
- Categorize, file, and maintain paperwork for audit purposes and file all customer records
- Print and distribute e-mailed customer purchase orders
- Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as needed
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detailed-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills
- Good basic math skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with a multi-line phone system
- Pleasant phone personality and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, and fingers to use a computer and keyboard
- Bending and some lifting
- Extensive writing and phone use
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
