About the Role

The Virtual Assistant / Airbnb Customer Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless property management, guest satisfaction, and efficient communication. This multifaceted position involves managing guest communications, coordinating housekeeping and amenities, resolving guest issues, processing reservations, and providing accurate information about properties and neighborhoods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest and Reservation Management: Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Virtual Property Management: Oversee platform management, coordinate with housekeeping and amenities providers, and maintain accurate property information.
  • Cleaner Management: Schedule, coordinate, and ensure timely execution of cleaning services for our properties.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints and issues with a high sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Reservation Processing: Manage and process reservations efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Information Provision: Provide detailed and accurate information about properties, neighborhoods, and local attractions to guests.

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.
  • 2+ years of experience in vacation rental customer service or hotel industry, understanding the nuances of guest expectations and service standards.
  • Availability to work during normal U.S. business hours, ensuring alignment with our operational needs.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using multiple technology platforms and the ability to learn new technologies as needed.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and reading skills in the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Airbnb customer service, understanding the platform's specific requirements and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Success Metrics

  • Maintain a quick response rate to all guest inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Resolve guest issues with a high sense of urgency, aiming for resolution within 3 hours or ASAP.
  • Contribute to achieving and maintaining a review rating of 4.8 or higher, reflecting our commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
