Hybrid Remote Ohio Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Professional Clinical Counselor or Social Worker (LSW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT, LISW, LPCC-S, LISW-S)

  • **Must be available onsite in Columbus office a minimum of two (2) days per week

Impactful Client Care Responsibilities:

  • Assess and determine the comprehensive mental health needs of clients with an array of patient ages and diagnoses
  • Conducts and documents client screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress notes, and referral information.
  • Deliver services to clients in the community and there is no requirement to go to an office.
  • Utilize evidenced based practices to enhance clinical outcomes of clients
  • Identifies resource requirements necessary to fulfill identified needs.
  • Collaborates with caregivers, physicians, school counselors and other health care professionals to ensure optimal client care.
  • Advocates for patient access to community resources
  • Communicates treatment plans and progress to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Facilitates and offers individual and family therapy on psycho-social issues such as coping skills, stress reduction, and caregiver support.
  • Demonstrates professionalism to reassure patients of their care by a skilled and compassionate professional.

Candidate Requirements: · Must be licensed in the State of Ohio as a Social Worker (LSW, LISW, LISW-S) or Professional Counselor (LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S) or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT, IMFT) with a minimum 1-year experience providing services to persons with mental illness and/or substance use conditions with children, adolescents, adults, and families preferred. · Must like and have experience working with children, adolescents, and teenagers. · Understanding of developmental trauma, family systems, and somatic experience, or willing to learn. · Compassionate, engaging, and have a strong desire to help others. · Provide weekly individual and family therapy utilizing evidenced-based practices. · Complete and submit required documentation within certain timeframes. · Attend monthly clinical supervision. · Ability to flex hours to meet client scheduling needs. · Organizational and Time allocation skill abilities, and to flex hours to meet client scheduling needs · Ability to utilize self-care techniques to best manage to achieve OPTimal work life balance · Ability to document therapy services in electronic medical records (EMR) platform.
