Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Part-time Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team in Anaheim. As a Part-time Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining our database by entering new and updated customer and account information. You will also perform regular checks to ensure the accuracy of the data being entered into the system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with various software applications, is organized, and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

As a Part-time Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and sorting documents for data entry
  • Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data being inputted
  • Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
  • Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan
  • Responding to information requests from authorized members
  • Testing new database systems and software updates

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset
