Job Summary

As a Digital Coach, you will lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. You will tour stores, provide feedback, communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilize technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. You will introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Your role will be critical in driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area, ensuring exceptional customer service standards, and providing supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates
  • Tour stores and provide feedback (Tour-to-Teach) to ensure operational excellence
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction
  • Introduce and lead company change efforts to drive business growth and improvement
  • Provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring associates, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and communicating expectations consistently and effectively

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications:

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience
  • Ability to lead and develop teams effectively, communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates, and drive business growth and improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and evaluate P&L statements, manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to follow and demonstrate the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manage and support customer service initiatives, and ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be an asset in this role:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
