Key Responsibilities

As a Lunch and Extended Day Teacher at Stratford School, you'll be responsible for:

• Supervising students during indoor and outdoor play, crafts, and snacks, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Guiding students in a nurturing and learning environment, promoting social skills development and character building
• Assisting students with their homework and providing support as needed
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for students during extended day programs
• Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and school administrators to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and school initiatives

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A positive and energetic attitude, with a passion for working with children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and staff
• Patience, empathy, and understanding in working with students of diverse backgrounds and needs
