Maintenance Technician, Amazon Prime Air

- Mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience. - Basic engineering knowledge: mechanical, electrical, software. - Experience in installation of sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files. - Able to perform precision work with hand tools. - 2 years experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software issues in aviation industry or military. - Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. - Valid Driver’s License and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria. - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends and nights. - Willingness to travel up to 75% of the year. - Experience using Microsoft Office and Linux. - Familiar with Python or other scripting languages. - Experience creating CAD files based on loose specifications. - Excellent business communications, analytical, and reporting skills. - Able to work with minimal supervision and with ambiguity. - Experience in aerospace or robotics. - Experience working in a fast paced environment. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $145,100/year in our highest geographic market. The qualified candidate will require mechanical skills, electrical integration skills and assembly experience. You will be part of a larger development effort working independently in a highly collaborative environment. The candidate will join a Research and Development team working on inventing and developing new transformative experiences. • Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics.
• Demonstrate adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow instructions outlined in standard operating procedures and work instructions.
