The Aspen Mountain Residences, managed by East West Hospitality, is a luxurious property that requires a skilled and versatile Engineer 1 to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and property maintenance.

As an Engineer 1, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall integrity and functionality of our property. This entry-level position is designed to provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general building maintenance tasks to ensure the property's overall condition and aesthetic appeal.
  • Conduct regular checks on boilers, pools, and HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Respond to guest calls and colleague needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues, including in-room maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of engineering areas and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) checks and VIP checks to ensure high standards are met.
  • Respond to emergency situations and take necessary actions to mitigate any damage or risk.
  • Work on restaurant equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management to support the team and property operations.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A High School Diploma and/or Trade School Certification (preferred but not required).
  • 1-2 years of technical training or equivalent maintenance/hospitality experience.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, and the ability to use them safely and effectively.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to track and allocate time correctly.
  • Bilingual skills are helpful but not required.
  • CPO certification is preferred but not required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
  • A positive and motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
