Benefits/ Time Off Specialist (100% Remote)
Job Description
This role supports the organization by analyzing and administering employee benefits and time-off plans. The Benefits Specialist will perform manual calculations, manage changes and retros post-implementation, and ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related data. The role requires strong attention to detail, a numbers-based background, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Team Culture & Environment

Key Projects & Responsibilities
- Support the PayMod Project through manual calculations and day-to-day operations
- Handle retros and changes post go-live
- Perform manual calculations related to benefits and payroll
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with plan terms and regulatory requirements
Candidate Requirements Technology Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- Smartsheets
- SAP (older version)
- Experience with payroll systems (preferred but not required)
Experience:
- 1–2+ years in benefits, payroll, or financial roles
- Strong numbers-based background
- Manual calculation experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance or related field (nice to have)
- Benefits experience
- Canadian payroll or benefits experience

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
