About the Role

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist at Blithequark, you'll be responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization, working closely with key stakeholders to identify and select top service providers, and negotiating contracts that drive value and mitigate risks. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's responsible for managing over $1B in annual professional services spend, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from consulting and advisory services to financial, tax, audit, and data subscriptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing decisions
• Evaluate providers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria, analyzing bids to identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation
• Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services, ensuring compliance with Blithequark's policies and procedures
• Prepare and execute clear, value-based negotiation strategies utilizing Strategic Sourcing methodology
• Prepare and execute contracts, as well as perform post-award administration and contract management
• Develop and implement performance management programs with providers, focusing on quality, responsiveness, and value
• Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
• Communicate and document the status of key outside relationships that may impact planning and decision-making
• Analyze market trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external providers
• Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date on best practices in strategic sourcing and procurement

Requirements and Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in services category sourcing
• Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels
• Strong strategic agility and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work in various environments
• Ability to cope with ambiguity and uncertainty
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, basic legal terms and conditions, and entertainment industry trends and conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with and/or for companies that provide consulting and advisory services
• Professional Services Sourcing background is a plus
• Consulting/Advisory experience is a plus

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
