Key Responsibilities

As an Airport Cabin Cleaning Agent for Delta Airlines, you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and servicing aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories to the highest standards.
  • Preparing the cabin for customer boarding and departure, including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floors, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications.
  • Assisting Ramp agents when cabin cleaning is complete.
  • Performing FOD walks in the ramp area between flights to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Marshalling aircraft during arrival and departures.
  • Ensuring necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights.
  • Reading and interpreting aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
  • Be eligible to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Have a flexible schedule that allows work during nights, weekends, and holidays, with some shifts requiring extended hours to meet business needs.
  • Be able to work in cramped or high places.
  • Be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance or cleaning.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and safety procedures.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
