Senior AI Engineer

Join 700Apps as a Senior Agentic AI Engineer, where you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge AI solutions. You will design and implement advanced on-premises AI agents utilizing LangChain and local LLMs (like LLaMA, Mistral, and Ollama). Your mission will involve creating adaptive AI systems with memory, tool usage, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities, all while ensuring compliance with stringent privacy requirements.

1. AI/ML Knowledge

• Hands-on experience with ML models and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging face).
• Exposure to working with LLMs: fine-tuning, embeddings, prompt engineering, or retrieval-based approaches.
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning or planning concepts (not expert level, but aware).

• Some experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, etc.).
• Ability to build single-agent workflows with memory, tool-use, or simple orchestration.

• Strong Python skills (production-grade code).
• Experience building REST APIs or microservices.
• Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and API integration.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data pipelines.

• Experience deploying AI apps/services in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Comfortable with containerization (Docker) and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with git-hub and git-flow
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (queues, schedulers, etc.).

• Able to run experiments, test outputs, and measure model/agent performance.
• Familiarity with guardrails, content moderation, and safe API usage.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in software engineering or applied ML, with at least 1–2 years working directly with AI/ML systems.
