Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels, ensuring that all interactions are professional, courteous, and efficient.
  • Process customer transactions, research, and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing our customer service applications and systems.
  • Acquire, demonstrate, and utilize knowledge of retail banking, online banking, mortgage, and business product expertise to effectively address customer inquiries and provide solutions.
  • Maintain high levels of call productivity and quality scores, exceeding minimum standards and established guidelines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and active listening skills, ensuring that customers receive clear and concise information.
  • Cross-sell financial services and products, identifying opportunities to meet customer needs and promote our company's offerings.
  • Adhere to and comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity, ensuring that our company's policies and procedures are followed.
  • Complete required training and maintain knowledge of our company's policies, procedures, and systems.

Essential Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of call center experience, preferably in retail banking products and/or residential loans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
  • Experience with customer service applications and systems.
  • Knowledge of retail banking, online banking, mortgage, and business product expertise.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Active listening skills, with the ability to understand and address customer needs.
  • Computer knowledge, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
