About the Role

The Part Time Remote Data Entry Clerk at blithequark is a permanent position that offers flexible hours, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customer requests are processed efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for receiving and processing technical assistance requests from customers, submitting them into our ticketing system, and following up on the outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process requests for technical assistance from customers via phone, email, or online submissions
  • Accurately enter customer requests into our ticketing system, ensuring all relevant information is captured
  • Review and update tickets to reflect the outcome of the help desk technician's actions
  • Email responses to customers, providing them with updates and resolutions to their issues
  • Ensure timely closure of tickets, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and performance goals

Essential Qualifications

While prior experience is not required, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous I.T. Help Desk ticket experience or online customer service experience in a technology company or busy online retailer
  • Exceptional typing skills and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency in using computer software and hardware, including ticketing systems and email clients

Preferred Qualifications
