Key Responsibilities

  • Listen carefully to customers and evaluate their situations to provide appropriate solutions, ensuring each call is resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Handle a wide range of calls, from simple mapping and navigation queries to emergency situations, with a high degree of caring and empathy.
  • Remain calm and composed under pressure, diffusing emotional and difficult calls with professionalism and poise.
  • Multi-task to find answers while on calls with customers, utilizing available resources to resolve issues promptly.
  • React and respond decisively in emergency situations, providing critical support to customers in need.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills, including active listening and effective communication.
  • A caring, sympathetic, and helpful demeanor, with the ability to empathize with customers.

  • Fluency in English; fluency in Spanish and/or French Canadian is a significant advantage.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a Customer Support Response Specialist with blithequark, you can expect:

  • A competitive contract rate of $0.28 per customer interaction minute, with a guaranteed minimum of 45 minutes per available hour.
  • The potential to earn an equivalent of $12.60 - $16.80 per hour, depending on your performance and client requirements.
  • Bilingual contractors will earn a rate of $0.31 per customer interaction minute, with a 48-minute minimum guarantee, and can expect to earn an equivalent of $14.88 - $18.60 per hour.

Tech Requirements

To work as a Customer Support Response Specialist with blithequark, you will need:

  • A quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours.
  • A broadband internet connection, with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS.
  • A wired internet connection for tech setups, education classes, and working hours.
  • A Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.
  • Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date.
