Job Summary

As a Senior Data Engineer at Wells Fargo, you will be responsible for planning and implementing ETL processes for large-scale data warehouse projects using Teradata, Ab Initio, and Autosys. You will analyze complex business challenges, design and implement data models, and lead teams to meet data engineering expectations. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of ETL processes for large-scale data warehouse projects using Teradata, Ab Initio, and Autosys
• Analyze complex business challenges and develop creative solutions to meet data engineering expectations
• Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and analytics environments
• Lead teams to meet data engineering expectations, including mentoring and coaching junior team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop solutions
• Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• 2+ years of experience with Ab Initio
• 2+ years of experience with Teradata
• 1+ year of experience with data warehousing
• 1+ year of experience with SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

We prefer candidates with:

• 1+ year of experience with mainframe programming using COBOL and JCL
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• A BS/BA degree or higher in Information Technology
• Experience leading virtual or remote teams
• Knowledge of incident management, including gathering and analyzing data
• Experience working with Agile Scrum/Kanban teams
