Job Overview

The Automated Warehouse Material Handler is a critical role in our warehouse team, responsible for retrieving and stacking specific products and quantities as specified on pick tickets/computer screens. You'll work in a fast-paced, automated environment, using computers, software, and complex machines to fulfill customer orders safely, accurately, and efficiently. As a key member of our team, you'll be expected to collaborate with others, adapt to changing needs, and maintain a high level of productivity and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment: Retrieve and stack specific products and quantities as specified on pick tickets/computer screens, while traveling throughout the warehouse pick area.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to changing needs and priorities, and maintain knowledge of working in different work areas throughout the workday.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse, including keeping the work area free of trash and debris.
  • Safety and Efficiency: Work safely, accurately, and efficiently to control warehouse inventory and minimize shrink.
  • Miscellaneous Activities: Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and Experience: 1-3 years of work experience in a warehouse or related environment.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., and repetitively lift 30 lbs.
  • Computer Literacy: Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
