What You'll Do:

As the Weekend Writer, you'll be responsible for creating engaging content for Live Science and Space.com. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Writing 3-4 fresh stories per weekend, whether short news or longer features
• Creating timely and engaging content for both sites throughout the weekend
• General editorial responsibilities, including working with the content team and Weekend Editor
• Posting on social media to promote our content and engage with our audience
• Ensuring both sites remain up-to-date and fresh with the latest science and space news

Experience That'll Put You Ahead Of The Curve:

We're looking for candidates with:

• An in-depth knowledge of space, science, and nature
• Experience in a content role on an editorial website, preferably in a science or space-related field
• An inquisitive mind and a passion for learning and exploring new ideas
• Copy editing/proofreading skills and attention to detail
• An understanding of digital media and online content creation
