About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer 4 to join our Content Engineering team, specifically within the Content Promotion & Distribution (CPD) department. As a seasoned software engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing scalable, resilient, and high-performance microservices that power our content creation and distribution workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-scale, low-latency microservices using gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs.
• Craft resilient data models that translate business requirements into technical specifications, identifying key entities and their relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of content creation, promotion, and distribution workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, performance, and scalability standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing services, leveraging observability tools and performance tuning techniques.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, evangelizing new ideas and approaches within the team.

Essential Qualifications

• Proficient experience with Java, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, concurrency, multi-threading, and performance tuning.
• Recent experience with gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proven track record of developing resilient data models and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience working in a production environment, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git).
• Strong understanding of testing frameworks and methodologies.
