Job Summary

We're seeking an exceptional Math Tutor to join our Schertz, TX learning center team. As a Mathnasium instructor, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment for our students. Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive, engaging, and fun learning center environment that fosters a love of math in our students.
• Learn and implement the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for our students.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to deepen your understanding of the Mathnasium Method and stay up-to-date with best practices in math education.
• Tutor students in math at all grade levels (1-12), providing personalized support and guidance to help them build confidence and achieve their math goals.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Plan to work with us for at least 9 months.
• Have experience tutoring or working with children in grades 1-12 (preferred).
• Have math proficiency through Algebra 2 (required) and Pre-Calculus/Calculus (preferred).

Application Process

• Complete our short, mobile-friendly online application, attaching your resume or typing a summary of your education and work experience.
• Schedule your online employment test, which covers basic math through Algebra 2 and Geometry. The test takes up to 2 hours to complete and does not allow the use of a calculator.
• If you meet the benchmark score of 85% on our employment test, you'll be invited to an interview with our Center Director and Personnel Director. The interview will last up to an hour and cover your approach to teaching math concepts and working with students.
• We aim to communicate our hiring decision within a week of your interview.
