Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Client Engineering (CE) leadership to determine staffing levels, design work orders, and lead interview panels to fill open positions.
• Assess the CE team's go-to-market readiness, identify gaps in CE preparedness, and develop plans to ensure the team is adequately trained and equipped to support annualized business objectives.
• Work with Google Desk Outreach team leadership to identify, qualify, and prioritize business opportunities.
• Participate in strategic accounts as executive sponsor, building relationships across customer regions.
• Collaborate with Business Account, Customer Service, Product Management, Client Solutions, and Design teams to resolve product issues impacting pre- and post-sales customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A four-year college education in Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a technical sales engineer lead in a SaaS or cloud environment, or a customer-facing role.
• Experience driving Customer Design and managing design teams.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out as an ideal candidate, you will have:

• An MBA or Graduate degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• Experience serving as a pre-sales, field engineering leader, or customer-facing field engineer.
• Knowledge of PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, public cloud, and related technical concepts.
• The ability to occasionally work across different time zones.
