About the Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) Team
The CIMA team is an integral part of the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) segment, driving data-driven and consumer-centric decision-making through integrated insights and objective analysis. As a member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, leveraging advanced analytics and statistical methodologies to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Marketing Mix Models for multiple business units, analyzing the impact of marketing investments on business performance.
- Transform complex model outputs into actionable insights, presenting findings to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Create informative and engaging analytic presentations, providing consultative guidance to business partners.
- Design and implement statistical models to address business problems and opportunities across Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to validate data quality, identify trends, and uncover new insights.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with advanced analytic methodologies, including multivariate regression, mixed models, clustering, time series regression, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in R or Python for data mining and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analytics to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- High scalability with R or Python for large-scale data mining and analysis.
- Prior experience in a media company or analytics consulting firm.
- Knowledge of marketing mix modeling and media analytics.
- Expertise in advanced statistical methodologies and data mining techniques.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Education Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, economics, data mining, computer science, engineering, or operations research.
Preferred Education
- Ph.D. or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, economics, data mining, computer science, engineering, or operations research.
