We're now seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA.

About Our Customer Support Team

Our Customer Support Center team is the backbone of our operations, providing after-hours support to ensure seamless care for our patients. As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, delivering exceptional service and support via phone, email, or chat. We're looking for individuals who are not only skilled in customer service but also passionate about making a positive impact on our patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, or chats in a timely and professional manner, addressing customer queries and concerns.
  • Provide accurate and effective solutions to customer issues, resolving problems and escalating complex matters when necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive positive outcomes, promoting a culture of teamwork and community service.
  • Access and manage sensitive patient information (PHI) in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of productivity.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
  • The ability to work a part-time schedule, including 2nd shift (4p-12a) on weekdays and every other weekend (8a-8p).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in software applications and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
  • A quiet and dedicated remote work environment, with minimal distractions.
  • Flexibility to travel for training and onsite orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus:

  • Previous experience working in a call center or customer support environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations or patient care services.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines for handling sensitive patient information.
  • Bilingual or multilingual language skills.
