Workwarp is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Lecturer in Automotive to join our expanding Automotive Department. As a remote lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and training to students across various automotive programs, contributing to their academic success and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess teaching, learning, and assessment for college programs, including Apprenticeship provision, to ensure effective learning and high success rates.
  • Teach Level 1 and Level 2 IMI Motor Vehicle courses, with the potential to expand to Level 3 electric vehicles in the next academic year, utilizing your expertise to inspire and educate students.
  • Comply with all college quality assurance procedures, including internal verification and IQA duties, to ensure the achievement of internal and external audits and maintain the highest professional standards.
  • Effectively use resources to enhance learners' experience, resulting in positive learning outcomes and high professional standards.
  • Support the marketing, planning, and delivery of programs within Automotive, contributing to the department's growth and success.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages high student attendance, satisfaction, and achievement.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A relevant teaching qualification and/or significant experience in teaching automotive-related subjects.
  • Industry-recognized certifications or qualifications in automotive technology, particularly in areas relevant to the courses we offer.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and achieving excellent student outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with IMI Motor Vehicle courses and/or electric vehicle technology.
  • Knowledge of awarding body criteria and experience with internal verification and IQA duties.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry developments.
