Job Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst - Data Insights and Solutions, you will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing data-driven solutions to drive strategic decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Design, to identify areas of opportunity, define and implement tracking metrics, and influence prioritization decisions with data. Your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and communication will enable you to distill complex insights into actionable recommendations, driving business outcomes and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analyses to produce data-driven, strategic insights and develop high-impact solutions that drive business growth and inform strategic decisions.
• Communicate findings with a clear perspective and compelling narratives, ensuring that insights are utilized to drive product strategy and business outcomes.
• Design, develop, and maintain flexible self-service tools and dashboards that align with departmental objectives, enabling cross-functional teams to access data and identify key insights.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify areas of opportunity, define and implement tracking metrics, and influence prioritization decisions with data.
• Mentor departmental colleagues on analysis best practices, technical skills, and developments in our organization's data architecture.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Analysis, Math, Statistics, Data Systems, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field, preferably in business analysis, strategy, startup/tech, or marketing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style to the audience.
• Strong technical aptitude, with demonstrated experience using data from multiple sources to solve complex problems, tell a story, and impact overall strategy.
• Proficient in SQL, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python and Git.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
