Key Responsibilities

• Organization, maintenance, and support for all assigned software applications
• Perform minor upgrades to the applications, utilizing advanced programming languages like Java or .Net
• Research, investigate, and resolve issues related to assigned software application items, hosted on-premise and in the Cloud
• Provide daily support of ServiceNow for IT staff and the business, including working with changes within the Incident and Request modules in ServiceNow
• Identify recurring issues/problems and provide recommendations to eliminate or reduce patterns
• Collaborate with management and resolution of complex incidents/issues, engaging other IT Groups and vendors as needed
• Perform root cause analysis follow-up, as required, and report RCA details and make recommendations for improvement
• Ensure smooth transitions from system changes/updates and projects into daily operations
• Participate in Disaster Recovery and IT Business Continuity cycles and strategies
• Create and maintain technical and end-user support documentation
• Meet technical and business SLAs
• Offer late-night support for supporting applications as required

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT Operations experience (support, maintenance, and administration)
• 3+ years of active experience with one of the advanced programming languages like Java or .Net
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Experience with operating systems (i.e., Microsoft and Linux)
• Experience using ServiceNow and JIRA
• A self-motivated individual who can prioritize, and work both independently and productively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience managing Cloud and SaaS products
• Experience with performing technology reviews
• Experience writing SQL
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server and Oracle DB

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Business, Information Systems, Computer Science)
• Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Development experience is a plus
• 3+ years of experience in the Retail Industry
• ITIL Certification
• 3+ Years in Marketing systems - RMS, RETEK, PLM, Marketing Planning
