About Private AI

Private AI is a Toronto-based startup backed by top investors in Toronto, New York, Seattle, and San Francisco. Private AI has created industry-leading AI solutions that unlock the potential of healthcare data while maintaining strict patient privacy and regulatory compliance. Our cutting-edge models enable healthcare organizations to safely analyze clinical records, research data, and patient information within their existing workflows (on-premise, public/private cloud) - automatically detecting, redacting, or de-identifying sensitive information to meet HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare privacy requirements.

Private AI is led by a team of experts in privacy-preserving machine learning and clinical natural language processing, driven by the goal of making breakthrough medical discoveries accessible while keeping patient data secure. Our solutions accelerate clinical research, enable population health insights, and support precision medicine initiatives – transforming months of manual data preparation into minutes of automated, privacy-compliant analysis.
