Jira Solutions Engineer - Resourcesoft, Inc.

Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience in Jira Software and Jira ITSM administration and development.

• Proficiency in JQL (Jira Query Language) for complex query building.

• Experience with Jira REST APIs and scripting for custom integrations.

• Experience with key Jira plugins like ScriptRunner, JMWE, and Email This Issue.

• Experience with Jira on-premise to cloud migration.

• Experience with Active Directory, access controls, and identity management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Jira Software and Jira ITSM projects in a cloud environment.

• Develop and optimize JQL queries, workflows, automations, and permissions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for scalable Jira solutions.

• Utilize Jira REST APIs and scripting (HTML/JavaScript) for customizations.

• Work with key plugins including ScriptRunner, JMWE, and Email This Issue.

• Provide clear, well-structured documentation for technical processes.

• Communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
