Rapid Prototyping AI Engineer Key Role:

Design and implement effective AI solution architecture utilizing approaches of various AI te chn ologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the company's strategies and business goals. Apply advanced te chn ical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with artifi cia l intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, data research, or data analytics
• Experience with planning, leading, or mentoring in sof tware and artifi cia l intelligence projects
• Experience in generative and agentic AI technologies, such as MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph
• Experience with a programming language, including Python, C#, or Java
• Experience with project work in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or signal processing
• Knowledge of modern sof tware design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rus t
• Experience with integrating coding agents, such as Cursor or Windsurf, into an efficient development pipeline with measured results
• Experience with GPU programming, including CUDA or RAPIDs
• Experience with modern cloud computing te chn ologies, including Docker
• Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams
• Doctorate degree in Computer Science or Statistics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
