We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client on a consultancy basis. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to define, document, and deliver business and functional requirements across a variety of projects. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, operate autonomously, and add immediate value within an Agile environment.
This role will operate on a hybrid model, with at least 2 days working in the office in Dublin per week.
Required Experience
- 7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in complex enterprise environments
- Proven ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Hands-on Agile experience (Scrum or SAFe preferred), including writing user stories and managing backlogs
- Experience with business process modelling, gap analysis, and documenting workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a structured and analytical mindset
- Previous consulting or client-facing experience desirable
Key responsibilities & duties include
- Engage with stakeholders across business and technology functions to elicit, document, and validate requirements
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation
- Translate business needs into clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams
- Support product owners, delivery managers, and development teams throughout the Agile lifecycle
- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and sprint planning/refinement meetings
- Ensure traceability between business requirements and delivered solutions
- Collaborate with QA/test teams to ensure requirements are testable and deliverables meet expectations
- Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and leadership on business analysis best practice
