Life & Disability Financial Underwriter
Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Life & Disability Financial Underwriter computes rates for group life and disability accounts, working with Life, AD&D, Short Term and Long Term Disability opportunities to prepare offers for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Two or more years of Life, AD&D, Short Term and Long Term Disability underwriting and risk analysis
- Comprehensive understanding of risk pool management, manual rating
- Knowledge of the competitor landscape
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Customer service orientation
- Strong analysis and evaluation experience with the ability to negotiate with field partners as well as present to leadership the direction and support of options
